Hello Happylight:
ReplyDeleteWhat might you suggest, if life until now feels like one big blur. Yet along the way there were strong glimmers of light and hope for great happiness potential.
Decisions were made which have now lead me to where I am today, a rollercoaster of mistakes and decisions... feels like everything was wasted.
I now spend my days searching for things to occupy my mind to obscure negative thoughts or reminicse , just seem to have lost sight of the end goal and feel like a shadow of what I used to be.
I can give the best advice/tips to anyone apart from myself. Even if I 'practice what I preach', just does not work for me.
Life is now just a schedule of things to complete before the inevitable.
On a positive note: Glad to have found this website- really impressed. Wish you the best of luck and may you help many people along the way with your 'Happylight' Super Powers.

To The Lost Lion,
DeleteFirstly apologies for not seeing this message. Despite my 'Happy Light' super powers (by the way thanks for that cool compliment) I am only human and seem to have noticed this message today. I do not mind you emailing me and I am quite happy to give you some pointers! Maybe you would like coaching? My email is above if you think this could be for you.
I'll leave some thoughts and questions for you and other readers to reflect on:
For a moment lets not place too much value on the thoughts and words which will continue to create your existing reality. So from what you said this may be...'mistakes', 'things being 'wasted'. 'reminiscing', 'what you used to be', 'inevitable'. (this is not to say that unpicking these thoughts is not important but this may not be the best place to do this)
Think about those 'glimmers of hope for great happiness'. Ask yourself, when have I felt this glimmer of hope for great happiness? What was it that made me feel this uplifting positive feeling?
Then ask yourself: When I said 'what I used to be' what do I mean? Who was I? Write this down.
Now answer this: How are you going to get to the person that you want to be and begin having great happiness?
Think about the steps you need to make to get to these goals. No doubt the road can be a struggle but rest assured that there is always a way. Sometimes we may need someone from outside our circle of friends or family to gently listen, guide and help us realise what we do want and need to do in our life. I hope this helps you to reflect and see things a little more clearly.
Stay positive, peace to you and you are welcome to get in touch.
